Istvan has been working in the field of community development since 2002. During this period, he has been involved in programs and projects of the Resource Center for Roma Communities, the Resource Center for Ethnocultural Diversity, CREST Resource Center – Satu Mare, Romanian Environmental Partnership Foundation – Miercurea Ciuc, Soros Foundation, Wyg International, Community Relations Association, the National Agency for Roma. Istvan provided technical assistance in the field of community development and organizational development, within two World Bank projects – the Rural Development Project and the Technical Assistance Program for the Knowledge-Based Economy Project. In the last 4 years, he has participated in launching and developing the Community Development Postgraduate Course at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca.
