In June 2016, when Marilena joined the PACT team, she wanted to put into practice a vision of people finding within themselves solutions for their community problems. She thinks of herself as an anthropologist by training, practice and vocation.
Since 2010, she’s been using her experience as researcher in the business area, where she has worked for 15 years, implementingt community development and social economy projects – as community facilitator, business consultant, trainer, funding applications editor, project coordinator and, of course, researcher.
She has a predilection for rural areas because she believes that a great challenge for our future is placed there.
